Day 2 - The construction express to the Great Divide

Day 2 was a nice drive, good weather and pretty relaxed until we got to Glacier National Park and hit lots of construction, with 15-20 stops all the way through Rogers Pass almost to Golden.

We made it through and got to Lake Louise in time for sunset.  The temperature dropped dramatically as we climbed up the Great Continental Divide.  We unhooked, setup camp and rushed off to Lake Louise and Moraine Lake to catch the last light.  It was snowing at Moraine Lake, but the clouds were high enough that we got some great shots of the Valley of the Ten Peaks.

Gotta love the beautiful Aqua Glacier water, especially when its smooth as glass.  We wimped out on having our first camp cookout and marshmallow roast and went for dinner at a nice little pub in Lake Louise.  We would have froze!!!
Next up we will be passing through Cowtown, not long enough to do much other than gas up and head out.  We are wanting to stay in Dinosaur Provincial Park near Brooks Alberta, but may press on and find a spot closer to Regina.
