Day 3 - Tilliebrook Camping

Day 3 - we took our time and enjoyed the Bow Valley Parkway, but got turned away from parking at Johnston Canyon.  Seems its not meant for me to hike the canyon, as I've missed it on all my trips to Banff so far.  Difficult to park a 43 foot silver bullet and we can't compete against all the eager Germans in their rented motorhomes who are up and at em earlier than us.

We ended up spending to much time in Banff as we parked on the edge of town and walked into town.  Then we killed like 2 hours at a giant mall in Calgary on the way around the city...Too bad as we didn't make it to Dinosaur Provincial Park, so we stopped at Tilliebrook instead.  Nice little campground and we setup the BBQ, Firepit and the rest of our campsite and roasted marshmallows.  Even though it was cold it was fun and the firepit kept us warm.

I left my camera in the truck so didn't download any photos tonight, but Sharon took a few here.  Next Stop Regina...back to Driveway camping at my cousin Thera's house.  She is taking me to the football game as well, so should be a fun time.  Sharon is looking forward to seeing where I grew up and hopefully will get to meet a few of my old friends, who I haven't seen in wayyyy to long.
