Its been a while for my posts, I got hit with a bad infection in my lymph node and was forced to go to the Doc in the US. It wasn't so bad, except they gave me a shot of of antibiotics and didn't tell me they usually do the shot with Lydocaine to freeze the area. They told me after that they were out and had to do it with no painkillers. They gave me a cotton ball and told me to rub my butt to ease the pain!!! Yes it was a shot in the butt!!
Then I got a double dose of antibiotics, which did help and I'm feeling much better. Luckily this all happened close to our final destination in Arizona and I was able to get the trailer to Mesa where my parents snowbird. The studio on wheels is now tucked away in a storage facility for the winter and we are heading back to Vancouver courtesy of Westjet. Looking forward to some time in Whistler and catching up with friends...not to mention our king sized bed (the boat).
Its been quite a trip and we are looking to resume the travels come March, when we plan to head through California and make our way to Vancouver and then onto Alaska.
Do date we racked up 23,000 Kms on the trip, visited 9 provinces, 20 states, visitings tons of friends all across Canada (None in the US) and got some amazing photos along the way.
Our last leg from San Antonio Texas to White Sands New Mexico, to Bisbee Arizona and then we bypassed Tucson area due to my illness, which is to bad as there is a lot to see in that area, over to Mesa where we relaxed and once I started feeling better a few daytrips to Scottsdale and other areas around the Phoenix area.
Next up Mexico for Christmas and then we shall see what comes in January.
