Notre Dame in all its Glory!

As children, we were introduced to the wonderment of Notre Dame by our parents. At every family gathering we always laugh recalling our very first visit to “The Dame” as youngsters. My Dad made the introduction of The Grand Dame with a series of several wrong turns, landing us in the heart of Quartier Pigelle. My brother’s could not believe what their eyes were witnessing with all the neon-lit red lights along with the “Notre Dames” walking around half clothed giving them delightful smiles (they still carry those images with them as it was their very first introduction to the female physique in all its glory)!

As an adult, I have stopped to pay tribute and respect to The Glorious Dame on each of my dozen plus Paris adventures.  The most recent stop off was last year with Jason, he captured some amazing shots of Notre Dame (as well as a few pics of the Quartier Pigelle area in honour of my brothers introduction to the streets of Paris at the impressionable age they were at in the late 1970’s)!

While we only do one Freebie Friday each month, we decided to break with tradition and do a special Notre Dame draw this upcoming Friday. For every like, comment and share on our Blog, Facebook and Instagram accounts you will receive a separate entry to win a six pack of  commemorative cards, featuring shots from our last three visits to Notre Dame (in all its glory).

We’ll do the draw on Good Friday at high noon pacific time.

Peace Out xo
