"I love the valley, there is no attitude" - Jeremy London

Yesterday was a great day for the body, heart & soul!  We left the silver bullet behind (on JDog's cousin's driveway in Regina) for the day and had the freedom to do some off roading in the Qu'appelle Valley of Saskatchewan.  Not a car (nor truck) went by without the driver giving us a big wave and smile, guard dogs flopped to their belly for rubs.  The noon time line ups at the local Mom & Pop Bakery had people joking, laughing & smiling at one another (versus the closed off and cranky people you encounter in city line ups and all the "one finger upward" salutes we get and give in the busy rush hour city driving).  Me thinks at heart I am truly a country gal.  Told JDog I could move here in a heart beat!  Reassurance I needed that we are indeed making the right decision with our life.  When we are half way through our North American tour we will take a 3 month break and head back & pack up our Vancouver life (prior to starting small town life on The Island) taking care of the headache of cleaning up 20 years of clutter from our Vancouver years (and heartache as well, we will shed LOTS of tears as we say our good byes to an amazing base of friends) before we venture off on Part Two of our North America tour. Ahhhhh, taking action on life and not being ruled by the schedule of the corporate world is indeed great!!! #freedom
