Three glorious days in NYC have come and gone. YES we made it into The Urban Jungle with the airstream in tow...Lots of folks saying it could not be done, well it was done! (s/o to New Yorkers on our airstream forum that gave advice on what bridges/tunnels/streets to avoid due to propane, height and street restrictions).
Our art was well received, stories upon stories to tell, could write hundreds of pages around the amazing reception to our work. Nothing like strutting it in the Creative Mecca of the USA...
Inspiration collecting ten fold; from walking the streets of the city, hitting performances off Broadway, indulging in iron chef food, taking in the smells of the metro to people watching/street photography and making new friends where least expected, our souls are full and we are on fire!
Tell us your fav New York City story, share a NYC haunt with us, what has inspired you in the Big Aple or send a pic from your time in the city that never sleeps. Email, respond in our blog, FB or Instagram us, we will gather all the responses (one entry for each story of inspiration/haunt recco etc.) and do a draw Monday morning. We just did our draw with the FB, email, text message, Instagram NYC inspirations/stories we received...the winner is Sheila Graham who wrote to us about 'The Rosenbergs' and calmly sipping her tea while looking at the very windows Ethel and Julius had looked out (not knowing soon would be their last taste of freedom). We have two runners up (we got into the drawing and just had to pull two more names) both Jessica Donnan and Carla Aird will receive a smaller six pack of cards from our NYC artwork.
